I patched cordova-android (GenericBuilder.js and build-extras.gradle) to solve my build issues with cordova-android@6.4.0. But crosswalk tries to make an API call that isn't valid for the target Android version, which results in crash. Without crosswalk, the Ionic framework tries to call a web API that isn't valid for the target Android version. So for the moment it doesn't appear to be possible to easily build Goober for anything less than 4.4.
